I have a diploma in Nursing from sacred Hearth Hospital School of Nursing in Spokane,WA, a BSN from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, and my MN from the University of Washington. This is my 41st year in Nursing. After 17 years in Nursing Administration positions at St. Luke's Regional Medical Center in Boise, Idaho, I moved to Walla Walla and embarked on a new career in teaching. It has been a busy 6 years and I have enjoyed the opportunity to see the growth in first year students from their first clinical days in extended care to the end of the first year feeling confident in their skills and beginning knowledge in acute care. In my spare time, I enjoy camping, canoeing, and accompanying my husband on "star parties" (he is an amateur astronomer). My other great joy is my year old grandson, Finnigan and soon he will be joined by a baby sister. - - Nursing |  |
