I am honored to be at WWCC with students and faculty who are creative, dedicated, and impressive. I received my MFA at Eastern Washington, then moved to my home state, Minnesota, and then tried the East coast (Boston), where I was an editor and teacher. But I missed the west, so I applied for and received a PEN Northwest writing award, which eventually brought me here, where I teach a variety of English and literature courses. I enjoy being a part of how people experience the written word, and learning about what people read and think about literature, as well as how they approach writing. Beyond WWCC and writing, I enjoy spending time with my family, walking, baking, and trying to keep up on art. |  |
