Welcome to my website! Here you can access course information and find out more about international and global studies in the fields of history and anthropology.
Allow me to introduce myself. Like many, I have lived in many places and love to travel to even more. Born in the old southwest I migrated to the west coast before completing graduate work in Austin and Denver focusing on history and archaeology. I was employed in the private and government sectors at state historical commissions, state archaeology offices, private research firms, national parks and universities. I then transferred these work experiences concerning the global past into the teaching field. Full-time faculty positions included ITT and Red Rocks College in the Denver area before migrating to Walla Walla. Technology enhanced teaching and learning environments are my strength. I am part of the new generation of faculty who grew up with technology as second nature and all of my courses and offerings are built around it. I still enjoy research, field work and publication through a doctoral program in world history. I also enjoy teaching online courses for the University of St. Francis.
Like most International Studies instructors, I love to travel, visiting cultural and natural wonders while exploring the local comida y bebida. Recent trips included China, Italy, Mexico, Ireland, Egypt, and Portugal.
If you want to know more about the world around us, take an international studies content course, explore the global past and present on the internet, and start traveling!
